Coffee Description: The brothers Córdova have innovated their farm to produce coffee that has been processed by a process that they have dubbed "Natural Honey". Unlike commonly produced washed coffee that is fermented in the mucilage, natural honey is dried in what would be described as a large drum dehydrator with the entire coffee fruit in tact around each hand-harvested bean. The process is more environmentally friendly because this process does not utilize water in the process. By allowing the fruit to dry in tact, the aromas and flavors are imparted to the bean rendering a beautiful cup of coffee.
Location: Zentla, Veracruz State, Mexico - The Municipality of Zentla, located in the central mountainous area of the state of Veracruz, where coffee has stood out for having the highest scores in specialty coffees in recent years, making it the main productive region of Veracruz State thanks to its privileged geographical location, the soil, type of climate, and altitude that help to make Finca Corahe coffee one of the best in the world.
