One of the best offerings from Papua New Guinea, the Arabica gene stock is one of the countries strongest assets, and one of the best preserved lineage variety sets in the world. Established by Australian settlers between WWI and WWII these crops would become a staple in the local economy. To this day coffee is a major source of revenue for the Papuan economy and expert growing practices have been shared between the larger producers and the smaller farms. This results in an amazing crop from the Jikawa and Western Highlands provinces that is fermented for an average of 48 hours and then sundried.
